**Job Summary**:
In this role you will be reporting to the reporting to the Associate Manager of Human Resources. The HR Representative is responsible for conducting Onboarding for workforce employees (unionized environment) and responsible for the processes associated with the lifecycle of a workforce employee including change of information, and terminations.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate the onboarding and ROI training schedule based on dispatch requirements.
- Responsible for preparing all documentation for orientation.
- Responsible for organizing and maintaining employee records in Salesforce and all relevant repositories as per FIPPA requirements.
- Create, process, and monitor all workforce employee tickets via JIRA and Oracle CRM.
- Action employee letter requests.
- Support changes to the onboarding presentation deck.
- Serve as the initial employee point of contact for new employees and resolve employee queries and/or issues during pre-orientation.
- Work closely with the HR and the Operations team to ensure a strong handoff and positive experience is created for all new employees.
- Review end of works thoroughly to ensure accuracy, and compliance with HR legislation.
- Work closely with the upskill and recruitment team to refer employees to future upskill and training opportunities.
- Work closely with the Operations and Payroll teams to confirm employee information is accurate and processed in a timely manner.
- Maintain professional, collaborative working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor the shared inboxes daily and action queries in a timely manner.
- Generate reports in Salesforce on a regular basis for HR leadership.
- Support HR leaders on HR initiatives and process improvements.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related experience required.
- Degree in Human Resources is an asset.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a HR or Operations related role in unionized environment.
- Experience working with a unionized workforce and familiarity with collective agreements.
- Experience presenting to a large group. (20 plus individuals).
- Experience working with a construction workforce is an asset.
- Knowledge of trades/construction is an asset.
- Salesforce experience is an asset.
- An Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

- A self-motivated professional with a high level of initiative, a sense of urgency, and a strong sense of leadership.
- Patience and experience with complex administrative processes; ability to execute and organize process-related actions with attention to detail while maintaining data integrity.
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment laws
- Ability to establish and maintain effective, professional, collaborative working relationships with staff at all levels of the organization.
- Advanced with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Proven ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion and tact.
- Ability to problem solve.

- Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to take initiative.
- Ability to adapt to organizational, process, and system changes.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**:

- This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

**Work Schedule**:
Full time 37.5 hours per week
