**Job Summary**:

- To develop effective sales strategies that will promote sales growth within Canada and increase customer retention. To manage the overall performance of the Canadian Sales Team.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Research market trends and analyze competitor performance to develop effective sales strategies
- Implement new sales strategies and techniques and provide training to direct reports and or agents
- Monthly sales reporting to include overall sales growth and new business prospects
- Develop and track KPI's
- Complete independent market research and identify new prospects
- Prospect for new customers
- Conduct business meetings with potential clients
- Manage all applicable customer contracts
- Provide mentorship and training to other sales personnel
- Set sales targets and goals and hold team members accountable
- Work cross functionally across the organization with other key employees

**Qualifications**:

- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of sales software and CRM systems
- Able to work as part of a team and achieve team goals and targets
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Computer skills to include Microsoft office suite
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong listening skills, with high level of attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to train
- Experience in manufacturing or distributor-focused sales environment
- New business development through distribution and/or direct end-user channels

**Education Requirements**:

- Preferred 4 Year / Bachelors Degree
- Prefer 4 year degree but can be offset with in depth prior work experience

**Years Of Experience**:

- 6 years minimum prior sales experience with at least 2 in a management role

**PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION BUT APPLICANTS WILL NEED TO LIVE IN EITHER THE ONTARIO OR QUEBEC, CANADA LOCATION.**
