**HR Technology Solutions Lead**

**HR Technology Solutions Lead** is a part of the Operational Excellence team and facilitates the HR technology intake process and helps lead the high-level planning and execution of business initiatives through the effective use of HR technology. They will ensure the HR department continues to develop the appropriate knowledge, and skills regarding their HR technology stack, this will see the incumbent support with issue resolution, and focus on insights that can improve HR service delivery to the front line through technology enablement.

The role will establish and develop effective business relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure HR, in partnership with IT, Officer Personnel and Finance, can deliver solutions which align with the mission and strategies of The Army’s HR functions, including the implementation, sustainment, and strategic oversight of HR technology capabilities.

**What you will be doing**:

- **HR Solution Delivery**:

- Lead design, analysis, and implementation of HR technologies (Core HR, Recruitment and Applicant Tracking, Onboarding, Performance Management, Learning, Onboarding, Time Tracking, Benefits, Compensation and Payroll)
- Develop User Acceptance Test strategies and maintain data library for retro reflection.
- Ensure solution compatibility with operational standards.
- Oversee the launch of new solutions and maintain integrated solutions including Workday, TCP and Service Now, with an operational excellence focus supported by data & analytics.
- **Strategic HR Technology Business Partner**:

- Act as a liaison between divisions, HR, IT, and other departments.
- Provide strategic consulting support on HR technology solutions and serve as an escalation point for HR technology issues.
- Develop communication strategies and material for HR systems.
- Partner with legal and compliance on data privacy and security matters.
- **Organizational Capability Building**:

- Identify HR business processes for improvement through technology.
- Provide input on feasibility, technology requirements, and cost projections.
- Consult on HR system reporting improvements.
- **Change Leadership**:

- Educate HR and business leaders on their role in HR technology initiatives.
- Participate in Change Advisory Board meetings and encourage innovation and cultural shift in IT teams.
- **HR Technology Governance**:

- Propose, implement, and oversee governance policies and processes.
- Perform testing after configuration deployment.
- Manage overall release management governance.
- Define the post-deployment relationship between IT and HR and contribute to the annual operating plan for technology service delivery.

**What you bring to the table**
- 5+ years of extensive experience as an HRIS / HR Technology Lead/Consultant/Advisor
- Experience working with ServiceNow HR Service Delivery
- Workday and Service Now certification preferred.
- 2+ years of ongoing Operational governance in an HR IT leadership role
- Lean Six Sigma certification an asset.
- Excellent time and project management skills with proven organizational and multi-tasking proficiency and ability to manage fluctuating work volumes (including year-end cycles).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Organizational agility, with a high level of comfort working with employees at all levels
- Ability to solve problems by generating, evaluating and implementing alternatives.
- Significant experience building and managing strategic partnerships and alliances in the technology industry.
- Demonstrated successful experience with governance development and management, resource development, and leading and developing leaders and staff.
