Product Marketing Manager, Alexa Canada

Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline
- 4+ years of experience in consumer or audience marketing, product management and/or business in technology companies
- Track record of delivering successful consumer-focused marketing campaigns
- Experience owning programs/projects end-to-end, including roadmap definition and delivery and working with cross-functional teams
- Experience building reports and using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and assess the efficacy of marketing programs and experiments

Key job responsibilities
- Own the customer engagement strategy for Alexa in Canada, collaborating with local and international marketing and product partners for goal setting, roadmap development, campaign design and launch.
- Use data and insights to develop a deep understanding of the drivers of Alexa feature discovery and habitual usage and translate learnings into high-efficiency cross-channel campaigns.
- Build reports and interpret data from multiple sources to provide updates to leadership on engagement metrics and action plans.
- Create playbooks and process improvement plans for campaigns in Canada and across international teams, being the ‘go-to’ person for Americas engagement marketing.

About the team
The Alexa Canada team’s mission is to deliver products and services that are delightful and locally relevant for Canadian customers. We work on everything from product launches (like launching new Echo devices), to new skill partnerships (like working with external partners to make their services available through Alexa), to more consumer-focused campaigns (like what Alexa’s responses should be for Canada Day or each NHL game) and helping customers discover all the ways Alexa can help make their lives easier and more comfortable. The Alexa Canada team is an essential part of helping customers feel that Alexa is a trusted companion in their daily life. On the team, the Product Marketing Manager contributes to ensuring Canadian customers get the most out of Alexa.

- Ability to formulate data-driven decisions that lead to results
- SQL skills, with experience querying large datasets from multiple sources
- Fluent in both French and English in reading and writing
- Strong drive for results, with the ability to manage and prioritize projects independently and take calculated risks in an ambiguous environment
- Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others and lead projects, strong analytical thinking skills
- Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, and understand how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong, talented, opinionated team
