**About the Role**:
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team at Alexa Translations. The IT Manager will play a key role in overseeing our technology infrastructure and ensuring its security, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Reporting to the VP of Technology, the IT Manager will lead a talented team of IT professionals and collaborate with other departments to support the company's objectives.

**Responsibilities**:

- ** Technology Infrastructure Management**:

- Oversee the maintenance, optimization, and upgrade of the company's technology infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and software systems.
- Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems to support the company's operations.
- ** Team Leadership and Management**:

- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals and a Support Team.
- Set goals, assign projects, and provide guidance and support to team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- ** Information Security Management**:

- Develop, implement, and maintain robust security measures to protect the company's sensitive data, systems, and networks.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate potential threats.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including SOCS2 and ISO270001.
- Serve as a compliance officer to ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Security incident management. Develop and implement security incident management policy and process.
- ** Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning**:

- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the company can quickly recover from IT outages or disruptions.
- ** Budgeting and Resource Allocation**:

- Assist with budgeting and allocating resources effectively to meet the company's technology needs while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- ** Stakeholder Communication**:

- Serve as a liaison between the IT department and other departments within the company.
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand their technology requirements and priorities and ensure alignment with the company's overall objectives.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on information security and compliance. Experience in a B2B SaaS environment is preferred
- Experience working with international remote teams.
- Certifications in ITIL and CISSP would be an asset
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of IT professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex technical issues.
- Experience with data privacy, internet technologies, threat and detection (e.g., malware, phishing), and other security issues
