**The Role**

We are looking for a Technical Talent Partner to support our Toronto-based software engineering teams. As a part of a progressive Talent Attraction team, you will not be bound by traditional recruiting standards
- we want you to think outside the box and be an autonomous leader. Success entails building deep partnerships with senior leadership, the engineering organization, as well as the global Talent Attraction team.

**What You’ll Do**
- Build a world-class engineering team
- Provide expertise and insights into the technical talent pool in Toronto and other Canadian markets; develop a strategy to attract top technical talent
- Collaborate with other members of the Talent Attraction organization — bring in SMEs (Operations, Analytics, Talent Marketing) when necessary to help drive results
- Manage the needs of multiple hiring managers concurrently, across a wide variety of roles
- Go beyond the traditional bounds of recruitment — Talent at Veeva is not transactional and hiring managers are a critical component of the process and your success

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years experience in technical recruiting
- Experience hiring top-quality engineering talent in the greater Toronto area for Saas companies
- Strong understanding of the Toronto tech talent landscape; knowledgeable of what’s going on in the market and how to leverage it
- Ability to build strong relationships across all levels within an engineering organization - can disseminate information, and comfortably discuss talent data and insights
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

**Compensation**
- **Base pay: $80,000 - $150,000 CAD**:

- The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
