**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
- Work closely with managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for every role, and to meet competitive hiring goals and expectations
- Partner with recruiting team and senior managers to design, refine, and implement innovative recruitment strategies
- Develop relationships with managers to build awareness of their departments, hiring needs, and job specifications
- Attend automotive and collision related hiring events in an effort to grow interest in career paths offered at the dealership or repair center level, traveling as needed to ensure AutoCanada has a strong and successful presence at these events
- Work with leadership and staffing agencies, on occasion, to source contract hires when we have temporary staffing needs in our repair centers
- Other duties as assigned as related to Talent Acquisition and assessment
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- French/ English bilingual with strong conversational and written skills, required
- Must be able to travel throughout Canada to attend hiring events, as needed (10-15%)
- Previous experience working in Talent Acquisition or HR highly desired
- Acceptable Driver’s Abstract and License
- Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field or relevant work experience
- Proficient with Microsoft 365, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, online ATS and SaaS software
- Capable of prioritizing multiple projects while still achieving deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to stay self-directed and motivated
**Work Conditions**:
- Nearly always works indoors, but may be exposed to loud sounds or noises from business operations on occasion
- Travel may be required within Canada and the United States to support Contact Centre initiatives on an as needed basis (Less than 20% of the time)
- Dexterity to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a tablet, copy machine, printer or other pieces of office equipment which may require repetitive hand, finger, leg, foot, and/or knee motion
- Occasionally ascends and descends stairs when visiting offsite locations built prior to current new-construction disability, accessibility requirements
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle when driving to offsite training, meetings, or AutoCanada hiring events
- Lifting or moving up items that weigh 30lbs or more may be required
