**Position Description**:
General responsibilities for all CRPCs include:

- Develop, monitor and iterate project work plans
- Develop REB documents including study protocol and informed consent forms based on regulations, templates and institutional requirements. Submit to REB and coordinate revisions
- Identify and recruit potential participants
- Screen patients for study eligibility
- Obtain informed consent
- Extract data from electronic medical records (i.e., Epic and ChartMaxx)
- Collect, enter and manage research data with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Develop and maintain operating procedures to ensure adherence to study protocols, institutional requirements and regulatory obligations
- Oversee purchasing and maintenance of supplies needed for study conduct
- Keep abreast of regulations and policies governing clinical research
- Encourage and foster collaborative relationships with healthcare team at SickKids, other participating centres and government and community agencies.

We are hiring CRPC to support two specific projects. Additional responsibilities for the projects are as follows:
Rare-Pediatric Eye Cancer Biobank:

- Working with existing Senior R-PEC Biobank Coordinator:

- Coordinate receipt of biospecimen from SickKids and referral sites
- Utilize biobanking software to document and monitor biospecimen inventory
- Coordinate and participate in committees
- Support onboarding and training of new referral sites
- Act as point-of-contact for referral sites
- Prepare accrual reports

Genetic Risk Stratification Guidelines for Retinoblastoma:

- Comprehensively review electronic medical records including genetic testing reports

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:

- Master of Science degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 2 years of clinical research experience aligning with aforementioned role(s).
- Demonstrated experience in any of the following would be considered an asset:

- Pediatric Ophthalmology
- Epic
- REDCap
- Chart reviews
- Biobanking
- Grant writing
- Superior communication, organization and time management skills.
- Meticulous attention-to-detail.
- Ability to work independently with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Exceptional problem solving and decision making.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
