**The opportunity**:
The Faculty of Arts is looking for a Supervisor, Administrative Services. Reporting to the Manager, Staff & Administrative Services, the Supervisor, Administrative Services is a key member of the Faculty of Arts Administrative Team. This position provides support to department administrators through the development of efficient, effective, and scalable workflows. They champion operational initiatives within the Faculty of Arts and align the faculty's administrative processes with university guidelines, policies, procedures, and regulations.

**The qualifications and experience we’re looking for**:

- An undergraduate degree in a related discipline is required.
- Project management certificate or course in process improvement are an asset.
- A minimum of three years of directly related senior-level administrative experience in a progressively responsible position is required.
- Extensive experience managing human and physical resources is required.
- A working knowledge of the university and its academic programs, collective agreements, policies, and procedures is required.
- Experience with HRIS software’s and recruitment is required.
- Budget experience required.
- Experience with process improvement is required.
- Experience with payroll and finance systems is preferred.
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Leadership skill with the ability to motivate and engage staff is required.
- High level of adaptability is required.
- High level of organizational awareness with knowledge of regulations, policies, procedures, and academic programs is required.
- Advanced proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office (Teams, OneNote, Word, Excel, and Outlook), and the internet.
- Ability to leverage technology to streamline administrative processes if required.
- Analysis and problem assessment skills required.
- Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing is required.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement required.
- Ability to maintain collaborative relationships across varying levels of authority is required.
- Ability to execute tasks within defined timelines while managing multiple priorities is required.
- Ability to problem solve and exercise independent judgment required.
- Ability to effectively deliver training is required.
- Satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
