**STARTING WAGE**: $18-$20/hour

**HOURS**:High Season (May - December) Full Time, Off Season (January - April) 20+ hours/week

**Job Summary**:
The Banquet Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of banquet functions in the absence of the Banquet Manager by being properly prepared and leading staff through the preparation, service and closure of each event. This would be accomplished through a variety of responsibilities, beginning with being properly prepared and informed of functions, through communication and coordination with the Wedding & Event Coordinator. On event days, the Banquet Supervisor will be responsible for greeting the client and ensuring the event set-up is to their liking and that all tasks are performed precisely and efficiently as instructed to department staff. While closing the Banquet Supervisor will make sure that the building is properly closed and cleaned at the end of the night, all items from clients have been removed under their supervision, the banquet hall and kitchen are left clean and the clubhouse is in proper order for the next day.

TheBanquet Supervisor is required to work all Weddings and Events over the term of their position; Some overtime will be required.

The Banquet Supervisor will perform the following administrative duties:

- Staff evaluations/performance reports
- Maintain cleanliness of banquet spaces
- Manage all Banquets/Events/Weddings/Tournaments
- Maintain exceptional levels of customer service
- Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ensure staffing levels meet business demands
- Ensure training is carried out on an ongoing basis
- Participate in communication meetings with members of the F&B team
- Manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Manage, train, and develop the Banquet team
- Comply with club security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation

The Banquet Supervisor must have:

- A reliable vehicle
- A cell phone
- Food handlers’ certificate (or can be obtained during training)
- First aid training
- Serving it safe certification (or can be obtained during training)
- Fluency in English
- Minimum of 3 years banquet experience or 1 year banquet management experience.

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
