Communitech is a hybrid organization headquartered in downtown Kitchener, Ontario. Many of our roles can be done remotely, but some require working primarily from our innovation hub. In-person connection is important to us, so we get together regularly for special events, collaboration days and team socials.
**Executive Office Support (90%)**- All Executive Assistant support to the CEO, including but not limited to; Calendar management, scheduling appointments and managing travel itineraries-
- Note-taking, Google drive management and light project management-
- Filing expense reports-
- Preparation for events and panels both internal and external-
- Litmus test for organization - what’s working and not working-
- Support the Office of Chief Strategy Officer, including but not limited to;- Participate in the rollout and adoption of SquadOS-
- Assist with the updates of the SquadOS board-
- Organization and set-up and tear-down for squad meetings and events ie. room bookings, making coffee, printing tent, cards, arranging catering and supplies-
- Responsible for all squad meetings minutes, including a record of what was discussed and any action items- Board duties, including scheduling meetings and dinners, and communications- Special projects as delegated by the C-Suite team- Assist with the onboarding and training of other EAs internally and setting them up for success- Participate in and support the EA P2P Group
**Internal Communications and Community Engagement (10%)**Organize and maintain agenda and slides of the weekly team meeting- Support communications including but not limited to;- Monday memo-
- 3 things at CommunitechTech News/Tech roundup- Support with social media as requested by the Marketing team- Assist planning events for Team True North and partners- Assist with Hub experience tasks including in person visitors, special guests, ministers, founders, partners etc- Carries out research and reports on attendees- Event support on large scale projects like Techtoberfest, Team True North**Role Requirements**- Upholding a strict level of confidentiality, as well as compliance in partnership with the CEO- High degree of professionalism and discretion- Excellent organization and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment- Exceptional and professional verbal and written communication- Proficient with Google Workspace tools- A proactive approach to problem solving and decision making
