We are a heavy civil contractor looking for an experienced Accounting Administrator to join our team. This is a full time position working in our St. Marys, Ontario office.

Experience & Qualifications:

- Post-secondary education in Bookkeeping or Business / Accounting required
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience required
- Experience with unionized payroll preferred
- Experience with Trimble Construction 1 / Viewpoint would be a definite asset
- Excellent organization skills and strong attention to detail

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Process unionized payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
- Responsible for all government remittances (incl. HST, payroll, WSIB)
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts; Post journal entries
- Assist with month-end procedures, preparation of reports, budgets & forecasts
- Ensure accuracy of all financial transactions
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality

Salary & Compensation:

- $55,000 - $65,000
- Benefit package including dental, extended health care and life insurance

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- St. Marys, ON N4X 0B7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
