**Human Resource Administrator**

Evolving Youth Care is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic HR Administrator to join our team. The Human Resource Administrator will be responsible for recruitment, scheduling, training, administrative support and payroll services. **Duties and responsibilities**:

- Assist upper management with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
- Provide clerical and administrative support.
- Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc.)
- Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc.) and take minutes
- Complete payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, leaves, overtime, etc.)
- Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
- Arrange for in-house and external training activities
- Coordinate logistics for new hire orientations and employee training sessions
- Ensure employees are kept abreast of training requirements
- Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping human resource information confidential
- Search employee files and furnish information to authorized persons
- Aid in administering employee benefit programs
- Other duties as assigned

**Recruitment & Onboarding Administration**:

- Provides full recruitment support for all areas of service to the HR team including job postings, resume coordination, pre-screening, setting up interviews, interview room set up and reference checks
- Ensures all recruitment material used is up to date as per legislative and agency requirements
- Facilitates, updates and maintains the new staff orientation program.
- Prepares reports and statistical records related to recruitment and new staff orientation
- Prepares and updates all on-boarding material for staff
- Works with the student placement program.

**Training Administration**:

- Co-ordinates all training session registrations. Along with tracking when staff training is expired.
- Provides training support to the agency and coordinates training room setup and resources
- Maintains an accurate training registration system for all agency staff
- Compiles evaluations and monitors attendance
- Prepares training reports.

**Payroll**
- Monitors hours and provides payroll breakdown to CFO.

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary degree, certificate, diploma, or certification in Human Resources Management (or currently pursuing)
- Superior organization and communication skills
- Working knowledge of the Employment Standards Act in Ontario - an asset
- Total commitment to discretion and tact in dealing with confidential material and information
- Ability to demonstrate compassion and assertiveness in managing sensitive employee situations.
- PC literacy (MS Office, in particular)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communications skills

This position requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Attention to detail is imperative to success along with adherence to confidentiality. Strong computer skills are required, with advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience working with human resources information systems and learning management systems (i.e., When I Work). **Experience**:

- Human Resources: 1 year (preferred)
- Knowledge of Group Care - an asset

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
