Human Resources and Recruitment Advisor

**Your mandate**:
GardaWorld is currently hiring a Human Resource & Recruitment Advisor for our Security Services line base out of our either Regina or Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
The Human Resource & Recruitment Advisor, partners with departmental managers to provide advice and guidance on policies, procedures, and best working practices with regards to employees and Labour Relations, performance management, relationship management, employee engagement, recruitment and organizational change.

**, you would be responsible for**:
- Implementation of human resource strategies in collaboration with regional and branch team members, including but not limited to succession planning, disciplinary matters, people policies and reward and recognition programs
- Contributes to both short
- and long-term organizational plans in conjunction with Garda s corporate vision
- Provides guidance, tracks discipline, and prepares documentation for all labour relations
- Fosters positive working relationships with all stakeholders
- Works with GardaWorld team members to further develop / enhance program content
- Reviewing Human Resources policies, procedures to reflect up to date best practices and employment law
- Meets regularly with the General Manager, Operations, and reports on departmental performance
- Manages organizational change regarding Human Resources activities: Restructures, Human Rights, memorandum of agreements, settlement and releases, severance and ensuring compliance with employment law
- Perform high volume level of recruitment to fill a variety of different positions throughout Regina, Saskatoon and surrounding areas
- Utilize existing recruitment and on-boarding processes and tools to effectively source, select and facilitate the hiring process
- Create employment offers letters, new hire orientations, as well as complete employment confirmation letters as requested.
- Participate in career fairs, liaise with external agencies when required, and support employee referral programs
- Travelling between Regina and Saskatoon branches when required

- A university degree or college diploma, preferably in human resources, is required or equivalent experience and CPHR designation an asset
- Experience in a unionized environment
- 1-2 years experience in a Human Resources, Labour Relations and Recruitment
- Experience in compliance and process management a must
- Strong knowledge of current employment legislation both Provincial and Federal
- Strong relationship management and consulting skills in order to cultivate positive and effective relationships with client groups, key stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Must be adaptable to change and able to work in a fast-paced environment
