Newegg is looking for a Business Development Manager that is self-motivated, enjoys working in the fast-paced online space, and is looking to utilize their existing business experience to recruit, implement sales strategies for Newegg Seller Acquisition Project. The Business Development Manager will be involved in all aspects of the creation of long-term value for the organization which includes optimizing current partner relationships, negotiating new partnerships, finding new revenue opportunities, and executing partnerships.
- Initiates sales process by prospecting, scheduling appointments, making initial presentations, understanding business needs, developing proposals and completing contracts.
- Establish, maintain and develop business relationships with sellers and potential sellers to enhance the potential for selling value-added services on a regional level.
- Plan and organize an ongoing sales strategy derived from the corporately defined revenue and profit targets.
- Contact new sellers to discuss their needs and to explain how these needs could be met by Newegg’s services. Present quotes, credit terms, bid specifications and all other options.
- Answer sellers’ questions about services and negotiate prices and terms of service agreements.
- Gather and manage intelligence regarding sellers’ profile, type, core business industry, buying trends, needs and preferences. Complete sales reports, reviews and other paperwork.
- Responsible for keeping commitments in a timely manner and resolving issues promptly.

- You have a bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing or related equivalent experience
- 5+ years of business development experience or experiences logistics sales
- Outstanding communication skills both oral and written
- A solid understanding of Supply Chain and business management.
- Highly self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Superior business and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated business communication skills with emphasis in facilitation, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Strong customer service experience with a keenness to exceed customer requirements.
- Goal and results-driven with the ability to meet and exceed aggressive sales goals.
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills with a proven track record of handling multiple priorities.
