We are a dynamic medium-sized engineering and professional services firm currently seeking an Office Manager with focus on company accounting and finances to join our Business Support Department. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless operation of our accounting, financials, and office administrative functions contributing directly to our firm’s efficiency and success.

**Location**:
Greater Vancouver Area, Burnaby (In-office)

**Salary**:
Competitive salary range of (65,000 - 85,000 CAD), Commensurate with experience and qualifications

**About the Role**:
You will be a key team member of the business support department, working closely with upper management and various departments to promote smooth day-to-day operations and support key business objectives, including a positive work culture. You will lead and own the administration of our ERP Software’s Accounting & Financial functions in conjunction with other staff, manage payroll, handle accounts payable and receivables, oversee bookkeeping activities, and ensure the company’s financial health through financial reporting. The role extends to other business support activities, with one-off projects and administration.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Financial Administration: Ownership and administration of ERP Software for accounting and financial management, including payroll, accounts payable/reimbursements, invoicing, and collections.
- Financial Reporting: Conduct bank reconciliation and review profit-loss reports for monthly financial meetings.
- Project Support: Support management with various projects pertaining to organizational growth and management.
- General Business Support: Act as a champion for internal projects and business administration, support HR activities, aid senior management, and maintain company culture and values.

**What We Need from You**:

- A minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting, administration, or office management, demonstrating a track record of organizational and financial oversight. A degree in commerce, business, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: knowledge of accounting fundamentals, software, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of staff, client’s A/P departments, and management.
