**Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Co-Ordinator**

**Rogers Partners LLP** is a unique litigation practice that has the personal touch of a smaller firm along with the resources, expertise, and experience of a larger firm. We act as counsel at all levels of our civil justice system. We are defense counsel for insurers and self-insured companies, managing litigation arising from all types of losses including product liability, occupiers’ liability, professional negligence, motor vehicle liability, property losses, municipal liability, medical negligence, and sexual abuse. We firmly believe the success of our firm and our lawyers begins with our administrative staff.

Rogers Partners LLP is seeking an experienced accounting co-ordinator to join our accounting team. The Accounting Co-ordinator is responsible for all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable, as well as general accounting duties.

**Principle Duties include**:

- Review vendor invoices/payment requisitions, ensuring appropriate authorization, correct coding including HST;
- Process all payables in a time effective and accurate manner;
- Prepare journal entries including accruals, adjustments, and corrections.
- Vendor statement reconciliations as required;
- Follow up with vendors for payment issues;
- Review bank accounts daily to ensure all cash receipts have been accounted for, and post bank charges;
- Act as point of contact for questions and issues pertaining to accounts payable/receivable;
- Preparing bank deposits and bank reconciliations;
- Managing appeals and processing write off;
- Other general accounting and administrative duties as required.

**Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications**
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional environment, ideally with a law firm;
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred;
- Experience working with PCLaw, and/or GhostPractice;
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities;
- Highly detail oriented and ability to work under pressure;
- Client service oriented, with strong communication skills;
- Professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality are a must;
- Strong team player with the ability to take initiative, work independently with superior problem solving skills.
