Accounts Payable Supervisor

Hakim Optical is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable process.
Key Responsibilities:- Schedule and coordinate work to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Train and develop staff in duties and policies
- Prepare and submit accurate and detailed reports
- Ensure the accuracy of financial transactions and maintain a high level of attention to detail
- Co-ordinate and assign work to team members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as required
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be completed in a timely manner
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations
- Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees
- Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment
- Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people
