The Coordinator, People is responsible for coordinating the attraction and recruitment processes for all employees working for our sister company Toptable Group, and for providing immigration support as required. The incumbent will also be responsible for overseeing the onboarding function for all hourly employees and supporting the People team across Canucks Sports & Entertainment (CSE) and Toptable Group as required. This is a very busy, fast-paced, high-volume position working in a dynamic, exciting environment.

A typical day includes:

- Administering the attraction and recruitment processes for hourly Toptable Group employees and executing attraction strategies
- Creating and maintaining job postings in the applicant tracking system, as well as external job boards
- Taking a proactive lead, liaising with managers on forecasted shortages and ensuring their participation in the recruitment process to ensure vacancies are filled as quickly as possible
- Coordinating various recruitment activities including one-on-one interviews, group interviews, and reference checks
- Serving as the point of contact for external recruitment agencies and local colleges, universities, and other professional schools
- Under the direction of the Sr Manager, People, supporting with immigration requirements, general staff enquiries, and HR related issues
- Coordinating all Toptable Group hires, rehires, transfers, terminations, and offboarding in the HRIS
- Tracking expiration dates and execute applicable action on employee work permits
- Tracking benefits enrolment and enroll and offboard employees to benefits plan
- Administering employee recognition program and other employee programs

**YOU MUST HAVE**:

- At least one year of human resources experience, particularly in all aspects of recruitment
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Motivated by a high-volume workload in a busy administrative role, while continuously finding more efficient ways to perform tasks
- Strong technical skills and technologically inclined
- Experience with databases and intermediate to expert level skills in MS Word and Excel
- A self-starter who puts thought, creativity, and ingenuity into work assignments
- A team player attitude with a strong client service focus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to interact effectively with diverse client groups
- A sense of humour along with an engaging and bright personality
- Flexibility and willingness to work some evenings/weekends, as required

**YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE**:

- Experience working in the hospitality industry
- Experience with innovative recruitment strategies
- Certificate or Diploma in a human resources related program
