Team Lead, Accounts Payable

**Role Summary**
The Accounts Payable Team Lead role is responsible for supporting and leading accounts payable associates in the timely and accurate accounting and reporting of all expenses relating to travel and entertainment with quality and care, in accordance with company policies.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Support the Accounts Payables Associates in their daily tasks and responsibilities;
- Coach the Accounts Payables Associates on company’s processeus and procedures;
- Act as the SME in escaladed cases;
- Verifyies employee company credit card reports against system reports and account transactions;.
- Escalade any urgencies to the Accounts Payables Manager if needed;
- Validates corporate credit card expenditures with travel reports;.
- Allocates expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing and recording entries;.
- Develops, implements, maintains systems and reports, procedures, and policies, related to business travel expenses;.
- Administers and reconciles employee cash advances ensuring expense reports and any balance of funds are received timely;.
- Reports weekly/monthly status for various travel expenses;.

- Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
**To qualify for this role, you must have...**
- At leastMinimum 5 years of Accounts Payable experience, in the retail industry is an asset;.
- Experience working with employee expenses and in a multi
- currency environment;.
- DEC in Aaccounting, Ffinance, or related field preferred;.
- Strong knowledge of direct and indirect tax implications of any kind of transactions;.
- Must have sStrong work ethics;.
- Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable;.
- Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential;.
- High aptitude with computer systems, MS Dynamics Great Plains finance system is an asset;.
- Possess sStrong organizational and time management skills;.
- Ability to support, train, and coach colleagues;.
- Problem solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, data analysis, and multi tasking capabilities;.
- Strong communication skills for communicating with internal clients and management;.
- Bilingual English and French and English, spoken and written;.
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high
- volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
