Quark is part of the Travelopia group which is one of the world’s leading specialist travel groups providing customers with a diverse range of unique travel experiences. We are looking for a highly motivated and expert **Manager, Public Relations & Corporate Communications** to join our Marketing team, reporting to the VP Marketing.

This pivotal role will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive PR and corporate communication strategies that seamlessly align with organizational goals. You will be at the forefront of elevating Quark’s brand image, weaving storytelling, and maintaining a comprehensive brand identity across diverse communication channels. Proactively identifying press and communication opportunities, understanding industry trends, and proposing innovative approaches will be crucial for improving exposure within our communication strategy. Exceptional written communication skills are imperative, including the ability to craft clear, compelling narratives, write in diverse styles and formats, and produce impactful news and feature stories.

**The key responsibilities include**:
**Communication Strategy**:

- Create a systematic, structured approach to press outreach and relationship management.
- Proactively find opportunities that will further elevate Quark, drive substantial storytelling, and ensure a best-in-class brand image is delivered.
- Champion a continuous improvement approach by measuring the impact of communication efforts and adjusting strategic when vital.
- Understand industry trends and propose innovative approaches and tactics to improve communications objectives.
- Forecast, measure and report on the results of PR campaigns and media engagement to clearly demonstrate contribution to core important metrics.

**Media Relationships & Press Materials**:

- Lead the execution and measurement of Quark’s public relations strategy and calendar.
- Write compelling press releases with exceptional storytelling, clear language, and focus on the newsworthiness.
- Develop thought leadership interview and speaking opportunities for executives and specialized teams.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with organizations, media, and ambassadors aligned with Quark’s overarching goals.
- Generate exciting ideas and story angles, and craft compelling news items and press materials.
- Actively engage with media and external contacts to form relationships and coordinate media coverage.
- Research and coordinate submissions for industry and publication awards.
- Run daily media monitoring, tracking content and related assets.

**Corporate Communications**:

- Lead the planning, writing and management of talking points and verbal scripts for the executive team and customer-facing teams.
- Own, create, and coordinate customer-facing content to ensure consistency and accuracy, including health and safety guidelines, trip information, and other relevant documents.
- Provide guidance to executives and team members in media interviews and external messages.
- Develop strong relationships with senior-level collaborators.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Public Relations, Communications, or related
- 5-10 years of experience in PR and corporate communications
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to tell a compelling story; write in various styles and formats; research and produce news and feature stories, briefing notes, and remarks.
- Strong media relations skills with a successful track record of securing positive coverage.
- Keen news instinct, natural networking, and communication skills.
- Passionate about the news cycle, journalism, and media trends, including traditional and digital media.
- Knowledge of SEO and ability to scale PR plans to support SEO growth.
- Deep understanding of corporate communication principles and practices.
- Ability to develop strategies to support the big picture, as well as rolling up sleeves to take on writing tasks with a bias for action.
- Proactive, flexible, and interactive approach to work; ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Travel validated experience is considered a valuable asset, but not required.
