Pay Grade: $600 a month (honorarium)

Contract Type: Full Time 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

**Summary**:
Glossi Mag, published by Matte PR offers an internship program preparing students for a career in journalism and content creation. Glossi Mag’s mission is to share stories that matter. We offer commentary on cultural trends that are deeply local or are sweeping the globe and explore ideas that are impacting and changing lives — from innovative fashion & design concepts, notable arts & culture initiatives, to interesting people & places. We’re where creatives go to get inspired.

Matte PR is a boutique agency where students get to experience a dynamic agency environment, virtually Glossi Mag interns have the chance to work on a variety of projects for the digital publication including story writing, interviewing, social media content creation, analytics reporting and more.

**Our Work Environment**

Glossi Mag’s digital work environment facilitates our creativity, communication and collaboration. The work pace is fast and interns should be detail-oriented and ultra-organized. Successful interns are thoughtful self-starters and will be supported through their time here. Past interns report to us that their growth over the internship is exponential.

**Duties/Assignments**
- Direct support for account managers
- Social media content creation (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
- Social media monitoring
- Story writing/ editing
- Story pitching
- Interviewing
- Pro-active and reactive social media engagement
- Offer creative ideas and strategy
- Administrative tasks

**Skills to be further developed**:

- Research
- Excellent time management, organizational, analytical and logístical support skills
- Excellent project coordination and time management skills
- Ability to self-manage workload and prioritize
- Creative and strategic thinking
- Asana, WordPress, Buffer, Toggl, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, Slack
