- The Recruiting Coordinator provides support to the Staff Sergeant of the Recruiting Unit. The position is the first point of contact for the Recruiting Unit and is responsible for liaising with internal partners and external partners to increase engagement and strategic alignment of the Recruiting Unit strategies within the Calgary Police Service. Primary duties include:

- Liaise with internal and external partners to leverage, build and maintain strategic relationships.
Facilitate Recruiting unit strategic planning sessions.
Ensure that the ongoing projects and accountabilities of the Recruiting Unit are on-track and are achieved.
Support unit Staff Sergeant with planning, scheduling meetings, book boardrooms and facilitate meeting agendas.
Transcribe and distribute minutes and follow up on action items as required.
Mentoring of unit members (Sworn) to ensure alignment and compliance with unit strategic plan and projects.
Provide administrative support ensuring accurate documentation and records management for recruiting unit operations and projects.
- **Qualifications**
***A High School Diploma or equivalency (e.g. GED) plus a minimum of 3 years of related administrative experience.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) is required.
Previous experience working in a law enforcement environment, staffing or recruitment is required.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate is considered an asset.
Previous experience in budgeting, records and project management are assets.

You have a strong focus on results, efficiency and thoroughness with the ability to manage stress levels effectively.
- **Pre-employment Requirements**An enhanced security clearance will be conducted.

- Compensation: Pay Grade 6 $31.30 - 41.86 per hour

- Days of Work: This position works a 5 day

- work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.

- Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
