Contract Administrator

**Overview**:
FitzGerald and Snow (2010) Ltd. is a leader in the construction industry on Prince Edward Island and we are looking for the right individual to strengthen our administrative team at our Charlottetown office.
**Job description**:
- Position is available immediately
- Answer phone lines and pass on to appropriate staff or take messages
- Assist project managers and controller daily with tasks
- Type letters, proposals and meeting minutes
- Use of Jonas Accounting Software
- Day to day coordination on projects with responsibility of communicating, documenting and maintaining project details with various project team members
- Maintain the flow of information and documentation efficiently
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs ensuring proper filing/tracking of information relevant to contracts, reports, revisions, and drawings
- Complete tasks for new project setup, maintain project files, including but not limited to: submittals, correspondence, project directory, RFIs, drawings, contracts/purchase orders and change orders
- Shop drawing review process - manage and ensure efficiency and timeliness of reviews/approvals
- Assist in the change order process
- Create and manage purchase orders
- Compile close out documents (including but not limited to as-built drawings, contractor warranties & guaranties)
**Requirements**:
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in computerized systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $45,000.00-$54,000.00 per year
