BIOVECTRA Inc. is a leading bio-science business in Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia, focused on contract manufacturing and product development of active pharmaceutical ingredients, pharmaceutical intermediates, and bioreagents.
**BIOVECTRA Inc.** has an opening for an
**IT Administrator. **This is a full-time permanent position located in
**Charlottetown, PEI.**
- Coordinating the communication, planning and delivery of all IT projects and programs.
- Administration of employee security and network access/identity management systems.
- IT’s central point of contact for internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Central administration for IT-related employee onboarding and offboarding tasks.
- Coordinating the management of all software and hardware asset registries.
- Coordinating the maintenance of all IT-related documentation and policies.
- Managing onsite copiers, printers and fax machines, including vendor/supplier relations.
- Managing all AV equipment and associated vendor relations.
- Administering BIOVECTRA’s mobile phone program and Mobile Device Management policy.
- Adhering to BioVectra’s Health and Safety Policy as outlined in CP0010 Occupational Health and Safety Policy, Statements of Principle, and Responsibilities.
- Additional duties assigned, based on business needs.
- University or College degree/diploma would be an asset.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Extensive experience administering multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Extensive experience in IT and/or operational administration.
- Adaptable to new responsibilities.
- Experience administering Active Directory would be an asset.
- Proficiency in the Windows and Microsoft 365 environment would be an asset.
