**Job Summary**

As the properties supervisor you will help us elevate the audio visual experience for our valued hotel venue partners across prestigious properties in Victoria, BC. The role will ensure the flawless preparation and execution of events within hotel properties, ensuring each event is delivered to the clients full expectations. This role has a key liaison function with hotel management and will oversee a team of audio visual technicians on-site.

**What you will be doing in the role**:

- Responsible for all on-site management specific to the the technical AV requirements which includes;
- Supervision and leadership to AV Technical team
- Client Management
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Oversee the execution of AV project and ensure completed on time, within budget and to satisfaction of clients
- Delivery, setup, operation, dismantling of AV equipment
- Determine objectives and measures upon which the event will be evaluated at its completion
- Develop and cultivate business relationships
- Finding and closing new business opportunities
- Prepare sales quotes of potential and existing business clients
- generate lead to try and build new business
- Qualifying leads on business through meetings and follow ups with potential clients
- Networking with the business community and promoting the brand
- Inventory tracking and management of the Victoria hotels inventory
- Organize and Maintain files, records and materials
- Other duties as required

**To be successful in this role you**:

- Have 3+ years of experience in an Audio Visual Role within Corporate AV
- Experience in supervising a on-site crew
- Full technical understanding of Audio, Lighting, video and staging
- Proven track record in business development and lead generation.
- Have a valid class 5 BC drivers license or equivalent
- Are physically fit, safety-minded and able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Have the ability to be flexible in working hours and be available to work outside of regular business hours

**The details**:

- Permanent salaried Position
- Based in Victoria, BC within a a city center hotel property

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
