Innkeeper

Located by the beautiful seaside of Victoria, BC, the Dashwood Manor is a renowned local Bed and Breakfast provides the perfect lodging for vacation holidays, business travel, and romantic getaways. This 1912 heritage Manor sits gracefully on the edge of Victoria’s scenic marine drive, Dallas Road, and is surrounded by incredible ocean and mountain views, mile long beaches, and the famous Beacon Hill Park.

We are a passionate, and growing team, and are looking for energetic, enthusiastic professionals to join our team, and to become the Innkeeper of the Award wining Bed and Breakfast establishment

As the Innkeeper, you understand the importance of a warm welcoming check-in experience for our guests, and are committed to going above and beyond to make guests stay memorable. With your warm personality and customer service focus, leadership and operations experience, you will be empowered to deliver on our mission of "Creating a memorable experience for our guests".

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Provide friendly and professional service to all guests
- **Housekeeping**: Physically able to help clean rooms, organize the hotel, and to meet good cleanliness standards
- Supervisor duties, including leading and training a team
- Help prepping breakfast if possible
- Experience working independently and part of a team
- Flexible with job duties and willing to take initiative
- Lodging and property operations management
- Proactive with marketing, events, website updates, maintenance, etc

**Qualifications**:

- Previous Hotel or B&B **management** or **supervisor** experience is preferred
- Good communication skills, and fluent in English
- Detail oriented and an experienced problem solver
- Able to multi-task and handle multiple priorities
- **A leader** team player with a positive attitude
- Post-secondary education in a hospitality program is an asset
- An eye for attention to detail, such as maintenance, and improvement of the lodge's appearance

**Pay and Benefits**:

- The starting pay rate for the position is $24 - $27 per hour, and is dependent on experience and performance.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
