Onyx Accounting is a small business in Sherwood Park, AB. We are professional, customer-centric, innovative, and our goal is to provide our clients with data integrity and excellent customer service so they can continue to run their growing business.

Duties include:

- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries
- Assist with HR policy development and implementation
- Provide general administrative support
- Assist in weekly payroll processing
- Light bookkeeping duties as need

Experience
- Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or related field preferred but not required
- 1+ years of experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Note: Experience with QuickBooks Online is a plus

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sherwood Park, AB T8H 2A3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Administrative: 1 year (preferred)
