HR Reporting Analyst

**This posting is for 1 temporary full-time position up to 12 months**

The HR Reporting Analyst leverages extensive expertise in HR, Payroll, HCM systems, and reporting tools to design, develop, and maintain comprehensive reports. These reports provide crucial insights to support strategic human resources planning and informed decision-making across the organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create and provide timely and accurate reporting on HR data
- Consult team members and end users to understand business issues and provide advice about data that is available to support business decisions
- Lead the review, analysis and interpretation of information to develop reports that support effective HR planning and decision making
- Provide leadership to facilitate improvement to HR reporting and analytical services to enhance access to information required by departments and senior management
- Develop dashboards for line leaders to create and run their own reports, and provide training to leaders and employees on report generation and self-service tools
- Work with the systems team to review quarterly release notes for new features and functionality

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Post secondary degree or diploma in a related field with a minimum of 3 years experience in an HR or payroll environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excell skills, experience with Cloud based HCM reporting, Oracle Reporting (OTBI), BI Publisher reports, SQL skills required
- In depth knowledge of HCM cloud-based systems, including time and absence, payroll, core, recruitment, benefits modules; Oracle Cloud preferred
- Solid technical foundation encompassing logical and analytical thinking, demonstrating ability to investigate, design and implement solutions to problems encountered
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with staff at all levels in the organization as well as external consultants
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal abilities and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently, prioritize workloads and execute work in a timely, accurate and professional manner
