We are searching for a **Immigration Specialist **to join our Immigration Team based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

**About the Opportunity**
- Meet with newcomer employees to collect documentation, review their case, and provide support
- Participate in the assessment and determination of immigration pathway for newcomer employees
- Advise the recruitment team on recruiting issues for foreign workers
- Support operational leaders in relation to newcomer orientation, settlement information, and settlement services
- Provide education and training for members of the organization on employer immigration compliance issues, settlement supports, and diversity and inclusion in the workplace
- Manage calendar of events related to immigration services, such as multi-cultural community events and industry events focusing on immigration, culture, and settlement

**About You**

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

- Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) with active membership.
- 2-3 years of immigration experience working in a legal, government and/or settlement organization.
- Excellent organizational skills and accuracy for processing sensitive information and have the ability to manage multiple tasks, in large volume, in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel within Nova Scotia and travel to New Brunswick and Ontario may be required.
- A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
