Reporting to the CEO, the COO brings a breadth of experience and knowledge with an ability to manage strategically.

The incumbent will:

- Advise and make recommendations to the CEO concerning budget and financial matters. Encourage and lead the credit union team in development of performance measures, increased productivity, expense control, and business development.
- Direct and coordinate the leadership team in the development and implementation of strategic planning to support credit union vision and goals. Translate the strategic plan to staff to ensure support. Modify the plan in response to changing internal and external factors. Motivate and lead a high-performance management team.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop/ enhance credit union operations, programs, products and services, policies, and procedures.
- Direct and coordinate the overall strategy of the entire human resources function: benefits, payroll, pension, recruitment, learning and development, culture, performance management, and succession planning.
- Direct and coordinate development activities and implementation of security and operational programs of the credit union. Such programs include (but not limited to) Internal Control Monitoring, Cyber Security Program, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), and Branch Continuity Planning.
- Direct and oversee technology needs (i.e., ATM sites) and the physical configuration of branches. Issue appropriate purchase requisitions and negotiates contracts for maintenance of office equipment and physical premises.
- Work autonomously while ensuring CEO expectations are readily met and exceeded.
- Manage high level relationships with key partners and vendors to ensure uninterrupted member access to credit union product and services. Provide liaison activities between partners to ensure member satisfaction.
- Monitor market conditions and industry trends for changes required to meet the needs of the credit unions and the company’s business plan. Develops new and enhances existing lending and investment services.
