**Job description**

Are you looking for a job where you get to make a real difference? The Program & Volunteer Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting Ausome's programs and events in benefit of hundreds of local children. You will undertake administrative tasks on multiple digital platforms and correspond professionally with key organizational stakeholders including parents and volunteers to ensure efficient and effective operations that further autism-inclusive opportunities in our community.

**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support all aspects of assigned programs or camps, including creating registration pages, updating memberships, preparing program materials, and corresponding with parents, program staff and volunteers.
- Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data for members and volunteers.
- Support Ausome social media by gathering content for posts and program collateral.
- Track merchandise inventory, program supplies, gather quotes and place orders when necessary with approval.
- Maintain Ausome photos and videos. Ensuring all photos and videos are tagged and sorted correctly.
- As requested, attend volunteer fairs or festivals to recruit and meet with potential volunteers
- In collaboration with the Events Manager, coordinate teams of volunteers for large-scale programs/activities
- Present written and in-person updates and metrics to colleagues and executives

**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support the training of casual employees as assigned; administrative tasks, procedures, platforms
- Stay up-to-date in general office technology and platforms
- Support recruitment, engagement and stewardship of all Ausome stakeholders (ie. volunteers, donors, sponsors, coaches, etc)
- Work with colleagues to ensure social media content is being shared with Ausome community and beyond. Work collaboratively to meet funding/grantor guidelines on social media
- Support with Ausome events, community engagement, and fundraising projects as required

**KEY QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post-secondary degree or diploma
- Previous experience in office administration
- Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Support and attend Ausome programs as required
- Excellent people skills and ability to build positive relationships with participants, volunteers and staff
- Proficiency in a variety of office software and apps.
- Proven ability to organize, work independently and accurately, set priorities and establish deadlines, and handle effectively multiple requests and demands on time.

**ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS**
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism
- Experience with Ausome programs is considered an asset
- Experience with Salesforce, Google Suite, Asana, Canva and Univerus Recreation
- Experience working in the non-profit sector

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $35,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
