**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain the confidentiality of personal employee information, company information, records, and related issues in accordance with applicable laws.
- Maintain employee and human resources files, as well as making updates to the systems and processes as required.
- Filing of documents pertaining to employee personnel files.
- Perform the on-boarding and orientation for new hires through pre-hire communication, managing start dates and access to training, and the processing of new hire documentation.
- Answering and assisting employees and agencies with employment and wage verification forms and questions.
- Communication with employees about any issues, questions, and concerns, as well, as posting notice of all communication throughout the plant.
- Answering incoming calls for the Human Resources Department and directing employees, vendors, and public to the appropriate person or answering questions if possible.
- Comply with company policies and procedures supporting the quality management system, environmental management system, and health and safety.
- Support the HR department in implementing programs to improve the employee experience.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Previous administrative experience, with some knowledge of Human Resources, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
- Knowledge of applicable legislation.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Effective planning and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail skills.
- Proficient in Excel and Word.
