As Risk Coordinator working in the Alternative Projects Expertise Center (APEX) team at Pomerleau Construction, you will oversee the management of project risks and opportunities. You will play a key role in the success of our large-scale construction projects - ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion - by participating in approval procedures and internal opportunity reviews to establish the probabilities and impacts of the risks and opportunities raised, as well as in the choice of mitigations.

**What You Will Do**
- Perform risk management activities in accordance with best business practices and APEX project risk management corporate procedures across Canada.
- You will assist proposal managers in building registers of key risks and opportunities that may negatively or positively impact project delivery at the outset of the RFP process and make appropriate updates thereafter.
- Assist and, if necessary, lead risk workshops with project teams to identify, analyze and evaluate associated risks.
You will ensure that the information in the risk register is kept up to date and consistent with the structure of the various
- metadata to be filled in.
You will support the estimating and planning team's database collection, which will be used to perform cost and planning risk analyses.
- You will play an important role in managing the lessons learned database on previous projects and take advantage of the lessons learned risk library to initiate preliminary risk identification on new APEX projects.
- You will have the opportunity to participate in and contribute to the narrative for Proposals of technical deliverables demonstrating the risk management approach for projects.
- You will support Pomerleau's risk and opportunity management initiatives by assisting in the implementation of new APEX project tools, procedures, and systems.

**This role could be for you if you have**
- University degree in engineering or another relevant field.
- At least 1-3 years' experience in construction, consulting engineering or project management, ideally with alternative mode projects (design, construction, financing, operation, and maintenance).
- You have a good knowledge of software and other tools for tracking and/or quantifying risks.
- You have an analytical mind and an ability to understand, interpret and popularize data.
- You are bilingual in both official languages (French and English).

Additional assets
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience working with construction schedules.
- Expertise in construction estimating.
