**About the role**

We’re looking for a Risk Management Analyst to join our growing team

**What you'll do here**:

- Support the business units in identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risks.
- Guide stakeholders through complex situations with confidence.
- Provide ongoing training to business partners on risk management processes and tools.
- Oversee risk assessments and development of key risk indicators.
- Advise on potential changes to processes or further mitigating action where necessary.
- Ensure proper incident management, resolution, impact assessment and root cause analysis.
- Support the review and challenge of risk management activities in an effective manner.
- Oversee the company's operational risk profile and ensure a consistent and comprehensive analysis.
- Participate in the development and implementation of analytics and reporting capability.
- Collaborate with other risk management teams towards executive reporting.
- Coordinate with other stakeholders and lines of defence to ensure comprehensive risk coverage.
- Develop innovative approaches (framework, communications, tools, training) to strengthen risk awareness.
- Promote a strong risk culture by reinforcing the importance of risk management across the organization.

**What you bring to the table**:

- Degree with a quantitative foundation, supported by exceptional Microsoft office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrate curiosity, sound professional judgment, good business acumen and critical thinking skills.
- Question, challenge and convince in a tactful and effective manner while sustaining positive stakeholder engagement.
- Lead workshops, training, and presentations to large groups.
- Effectively formulate and deliver an opinion on a large variety of issues across the organization.
- Proven history of delivering on objectives while managing competing priorities.
- Demonstrated adaptability - you thrive when provided a great deal of autonomy and can navigate an environment of changing deliverables.
- Leverage analytical skills and experience in leading projects.
- 3-5 years of experience in risk management, or other line of defense such as compliance, internal audit, and comparable corporate functions. Insurance business acumen is a strong asset.
