As a Construction Contractor we are offering an opportunity for an **Accounting Clerk** to join our fast-paced, customer oriented team in our Barrie office. We are looking for someone who is accurate and efficient, driven and resourceful in all aspects of financial activities. The right person for this role is someone who loves rising to new challenges, with a knack of problem-solving and communication. This person will be touching on all aspects of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll.

**Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with Estimating/Sales, Operations teams to ensure accuracy in Change Order Requests.
- Assist in preparation of project pre-qualifications.
- Invoicing General Contractors, preparing and providing any necessary backup documentation.
- Client account reconciliation, statements and collections.
- Remittances of GST/HST, WSIB/WCB in all applicable provinces.
- General Ledger Reconciliation
- Bank Reconciliation
- Accounts Payable, coordinating approvals and entering Sage 300
- Payroll, byweekly processing

**Requirements**:

- Experience using Sage 300 CRE
- Minimum post-secondary diploma in accounting or similar field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting
- Strong communication skills
- Strong computer skills

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
