- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in using accounting software such as QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, Sage, or Ceridian
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with human resources processes is a plus
- Experience with Kronos timekeeping system is a plus
