**Position Overview**

We are seeking a highly qualified **Accounting Clerk** to support the daily operations of the finance team. The primary responsibly will be, but not limited to, the complete end-to-end Accounts Receivable cycle.

The desired individual will have experience with Intact/Sage Accounting and possess strong organizational and time management skills. They also take initiative, prioritize tasks, and can meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with mínimal supervision.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Accounts receivable cycle not limited to invoicing, data entry, credit card processing, cash receipts posting, and customer collections.
- Outbound collection calls on past due balances to decrease outstanding receivables.
- Reconcile customer accounts.
- Participate in month end close activities/deadlines.
- Coordinating with internal departments such as sales team to resolve customer disputes.
- Conducting credit checks and performing credit analysis
- Prepare and analyze AR ageing reports and other ad hoc reports.
- Work with internal departments to provide recommendations on collection strategies.
- Create, update, and maintain Customer Master Data, plus maintain historical records by scanning/filing customer documents.
- Cross-train in all accounting functions to provide backup for absences and general assistance when needed.
- Maintain standard SOP’s and develop as required.
- Special projects.
- Provide documentation for interim and year end audit.

**Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience Include**:

- Accounting degree/diploma, advanced accounting knowledge, three (3) years accounting working experience, strong proficiency in excel and word software, strong keyboard skill set, excellent interpersonal and written skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
- Two (2) plus years of Accounts Receivable experience.
- Strong math, typing, and computer skills, especially with Microsoft suite programs (excel, word).
- High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
- Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments.
- Intact/Sage, Concur and/or other ERP experience is an asset.
