Oceanorth Technology is a high-tech company located in Markham, Ontario. We are building an O2O platform named SwingBy which provides deal collection and marketing service for local merchant partners. We are a passionate team with a strong background in consumer products. We are still in the early days and are looking to add more extraordinary people to our team.
If you live and breathe marketing, we need to talk. We’re looking for a flexible and versatile marketer who will be responsible for the growth of our inbound partnership settlement. This position will expose you to both marketing and business perspectives.
As an Account Executive on our Business Development team, your responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with potential partners; negotiating and designing deals, advertising campaigns; managing the marketing budget and ensuring that all marketing material is inline with our brand identity.
Everything will be strongly data-driven, responsive feedback provided through data, which let you take pride in your work and also acts a great opportunity to review and improve.
Ultimately, you will help us build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels. With time, you will progress within the team, expanding your scope and responsibilities.

What you will do?
- Identify potential merchant partnership in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business and equipment needs.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with business partners.
- Negotiate and design contracted proposals and marketing campaigns for potential merchant partnership.
- Release proposed deals, deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution.
- Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis.
- Measure and report on the performance of proposed deals, marketing campaigns; gain insight and assess against goals.
- Track, analyze consumer behaviour and adjust marketing strategies accordingly
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field.
- Excel, Powerpoint and industry specific analysis software.
- Demonstrated achievement in O2O/B2B/B2C sales.
- Driver licence (G2&Abouve) is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English, including facilitation of group presentations.
- We need to get things done Execution and problem solving skills is a must, able to push and drive a project to completion

Pay: $36,720.00-$50,400.00 per year
