Commercial Director, Business Development

We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Director, Business Development position for Canada based in the Montreal Quebec office.

Responsibilities of this position include:
- Provide pricing, structuring advice and guidance to the Commercial Team members, recommending and/or proposing products/policy wordings to meet existing and prospective policyholders needs.
- In conjunction with the Country Manager, help motivate and provide guidance to Account Management and Commercial underwriting Team so as to ensure a high quality service level is provided to our policyholders, brokers and banking partners.
- Assist the Country Manager in identifying the appropriate training requirements to develop the required levels of expertise on Account Management and Commercial Underwriting Team.
- Ensure that Atradius Policy Underwriting Guidelines and Commercial Underwriting Best Practices are adhered to by the Account Management and Commercial underwriting Team.
- In addition to team management responsibilities, the position will be incentivized towards meeting targets related to the growth and retention of the Canadian book of policies.
- Occasional travel within the region and to the Mississauga Head office.
This position is eligible for our Hybrid work model, with the option to work up to 2 days per week remotely from your home office.
Salary package includes base salary + incentive compensation based on successful completion of agreed written targets.
