Position Summary

Our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) department is hiring a full-time Analyst (Co-Op) to support the corporate and operational FP&A functions. As an FP&A Analyst you will provide financial related analysis and insights that support our operations and drive positive business outcomes. You will leverage your business knowledge to create management reports, research & implement accounting and finance concepts and develop budgets and forecasts.

Supervisor Responsibilities

This position does not have formal supervisory responsibilities over other employees.

Essential

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze cash flows, expenditures, revenue and other financial information.
- Build and analyze business cases to support capital investment decisions
- Assist in the preparation of periodic financial statements for management reporting purposes.
- Assist with conducting quantitative analyses of information affecting budgets, expenses and other financial/operational projects.
- Assist with the preparation of presentations, summaries, forecasting and other business documents.
- Assist with the preparation of Budgets and forecasts, including monthly variance analysis.
- Perform related work as required.

Typical Working Conditions

Initial training in our local office with an expected balance of office work and work from home.

Education and Experience
- Currently enrolled in a Co-Op program with an accredited college or university in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Prior experience in a related field is an asset but not required.
- Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
