**About Us**:
The Data, Privacy and Innovation Division uses a one-government approach to information and privacy governance, decision-making and service delivery across the Government of Alberta (GoA) balanced with individual client needs. This facilitates enhanced data sharing, collaboration, reduction in data duplication and innovation to ensure effective and efficient services across the government to provide better services to Albertans.

**Role**:
As the Policy Analyst, you will be part of the team delivering the development and monitoring of the Government of Alberta's Content Management policy framework. Policy scope includes Data, Information Management and Records Management.
- Your responsibilities include:
- conducting research for trends for the development of policy instruments;
- contributing and participating in content management projects;
- providing feedback on content drafted by others to validate that the requirements for content management are incorporated;
- supporting the planning and execution of consultation initiatives;
- capturing findings and follow up requests during consultation initiatives;
- supporting the IMT Policy Program; and
- developing recommendations for new methods of presenting complex ideas.

**Qualifications**:
A university degree in a related field; no experience required; or equivalent as described below.

- Experience working in a team setting and/or on team projects

**The following will be considered assets**:

- Knowledge of data management and Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBoK)
- Knowledge of content and records management
- Knowledge of the legislation (Acts and Regulations), programs, policies, practices, and precedents governing content management, such as the Government Organization Act, Public Service Act, Records Management Regulation, etc.

**Equivalencies are**:

- A related two (2) year diploma plus two (2) years related experience;
- A related one (1) year certificate plus three (3) years of related experience; or
- A minimum of four (4) years of related experience.

**Salary**:
$ 2,310.48 - $ 3,030.81 bi-weekly ($60,303 - $79,104/ year)

**Notes**:
This position is a full-time, permanent position.

**Hours of Work**
7.25 hours daily/36.25 hours weekly, Monday to Friday.

Must reside in Alberta to work remotely.
