It has 6 specialized schools offering more than 60 programs: Fashion, Arts and Design; VFX and Video Games; Hospitality and Tourism; Management and Technology; Human Sciences and Techniques; and Online Training.
Summary of the position
Under the authority of the School's director, the main role of the administrative secretary is to perform the various functions of a school secretariat, including customer service to students, which is a large part of his/her responsibilities, and the coordination of the secretariat's administrative work.
- Greet, inform and direct students at the school's front desk via telephone and internal messaging;
- Maintain the agenda of the people with whom he/she collaborates and organize activities related to their internal or external meetings;
- Compose documents, design and write memos and routine correspondence;
- Research and prepare synthesis of complex problems and issues;
- Maintain and monitor deadlines;
- Maintain and monitor deadlines; Take minutes of meetings and follow up as required. Communicates information within his/her area of expertise;
- Maintains data that affects departmental budgets and produces reports as requested according to established procedures;
- Advise staff on administrative language and on the presentation to be adopted in correspondence and in the documents to be produced;
- Participates in the development of the college filing system and is responsible for the department's document management;
- Use the information and communication technology tools at his/her disposal in relation to the work to be done;
- As needed, perform any other related tasks.
Required qualifications
- Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) with an option related to this position or an attestation of studies whose equivalence is recognized by the competent authority;
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience relevant to the position.

- Excellent front-line customer service skills;
- Excellent oral and written expression and comprehension in French and English;
- Dynamic and energetic;
- Knowledge of educational administrative procedures is an important asset;
- Advanced knowledge of software used (Word, Excel and Outlook);
- Knowledge of CLARA software is desirable;
- Excellent team player.

**Salary range for unionized positions**: $21.14/hour to $24.38/hour
