Come join the Workstations and Desktop Equipment team, which is tasked with managing the infrastructure for Bank equipment and providing support for all users.
More information about the role:
- Provide level 3 IT support, ensuring that lasting solutions are found to prevent issues from reoccurring.
- Work with other IT teams (support and infrastructure teams) to resolve issues quickly and help roll out new technologies.
- Follow up with users and IT partners.
- Be proactive by anticipating and mitigating potential issues and identifying root causes to minimize the likelihood that issues will reoccur.
- Help train level 2 support teams on new solutions or technology when required.
- Assess potential impacts on implementation by participating in various complex analyses to evaluate and identify potential issues with our ecosystems.
- Make recommendations to automate/optimize system efficiency and resolve major/minor issues.
- Ensure system stability and integrity.
In your role, you will:
- Participate in regular penetration testing activities to ensure that our workstation environments are compliant.
- Participate in project analysis and other project activities.
- Level 3 IT support experience or extensive level 2 experience with Mac and mobile environments
- Strong sense of autonomy and ability to take charge, essential
- Proven ability to determine work priorities
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other infrastructure teams
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain concepts in plain language
- Automation skills or interest in learning about automation
- Excellent knowledge of Apple environments (macOS Monterey and iOS)
- Good knowledge of the Google Android environment
- Excellent knowledge of Office 365 collaboration tools
- Very good knowledge of the Jamf platform (Jamf 200 level)
- Good knowledge of the Intune and Azure AD platforms
- Knowledge of the Bank’s support teams and infrastructure teams, an asset
- French a requirement, English an asset. You will be required to communicate with English-speaking users and providers.
