Job Posting Description:
This is a hybrid role #LI-Hybrid

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Total Rewards, the Benefits Coordinator plays a critical role providing support to the Senior Manager and the Benefits Specialist and the Recognition Lead in program implementation, research, processing research ensuring the delivery of client-centred service, programs, and program improvements.

About the Role
- Processes employee death-related benefits and bereavement memorials, following applicable policies.
- Processes invoices for pension buy-backs and long-term disability employee contributions.
- Update the monthly Total Rewards Dashboard
- Audit benefits data to ensure accuracy and consistency with vendor data.
- Help implement benefit changes including annual increases and those flowing from collective agreement and other union settlements.
- Assist with the year-end benefit reconciliation programs.
- Complete benefit surveys and the benefit section of other surveys
- Triage and track AskHR escalations, answering first level inquiries.
- Track and coordinate the policy, program, and knowledge article renewal process, assisting with research, ensuring the accurate alignment of documentation, coordinate the submission process.
- Help research best practices as it relates to compensation programs and policies.

About You
- Post secondary education in Human Resources or elated field or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a client-centred role.
- Experience working with tracking information, conducting research/searches.
- Experience working with at a excel or datasets at a highly proficient level.
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook / Office 365 tools.
- Good research and search skills that produce relevant information.
- Ability to always maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with Total Rewards team members and other team members.
- Basic math and logic skills.
- Must have digital fluency skills.
