**What you’ll do**
As AVP Digital Product, Retail Digital Apps, you’ll lead a team building app experiences that bridge the digital and in-store customer journey. You’ll look for opportunities that mobile can uniquely make the online and in-store shopping experiences great. You’ll look at a cross-section of analytics, industry scans, and customer insights to build great omni-channel experiences for some of Canada’s most iconic brands. You’ll shape digital strategy from concept to launch, growing and scaling a team of engineers and designers to build scalable products. You’ll continuously employ combining human-centered design with test & learn approaches to build great experiences that actually solve customer problems.
- Own, maintain and deliver the digital product services roadmap in partnership with business stakeholders and in line with business priorities
- Lead, mentor and grow the Product Management Retail Apps team, working together to create a world-class acquisition and retention capabilities within Canadian Tire
- Collaborate across marketing, technology, in-store, and operations partners to deliver on an integrated roadmap of best-in-class omni-channel retail experiences
- Prioritize features and sequence development to ensure delivery on time, on budget based on strong analysis of customer analytics, business impact and OKRs
- Establish and implement product management functions for eCommerce
- Provide leadership and guidance to product management organization
- Partner with solution architects, scum masters, program owners and the execution teams to drive delivery and outcomes
- Use data and analytics to identify and prioritize initiatives that improve the customer experience, maximize sales and conversion, increase satisfaction, and drive reoccurring mobile app usage
- Lead multiple streams of work and cross-functional teams, including partnering with other product leaders and engineering to translate insights into product designs, facilitate decision-making and deliver scalable solutions that meet current needs and considers future growth scenarios
- Define objectives and key success metrics to continuously measure performance to inform the success of our products and present strategy and product progress to internal stakeholders and Canadian Tire dealers at a senior level
**What you bring**
- 10+ years of relevant digital product management experience in a fast-paced environment with at least 5 years’ experience in defining and implementing roadmaps using an agile methodology
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Technology, Computer Science, Design or equivalent
- Strong retail and/or ecommerce background
- 5 years’ experience in building mobile app/web experiences, with a strong understanding of mobile-specific consumer behaviors
- Experience in building a customer-centric design practice
- Proven self-starter with entrepreneurial instincts and the ability to successfully balance multiple tasks and deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
- Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and project management skills, including developing effective cross-organizational and vendor relationships
