Help Desk Support

This position is ideal for an ambitious IT professional at the beginning of their career, who is willing to learn new things, while assisting customers in a fast paced environment. As a lead member of our Help Desk Team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support for our customer user support requests, investigating incidents and providing troubleshooting expertise to resolve issues as they arise using Zen Desk.
Characteristics: IT credential or degree; networking training desired Willingness to learn skills and new technical domains Positive and out-going Willingness to talk to customers and help solve problems Valid drivers license with offsite visits required within Edmonton Competitive salary at a junior position
**Experience with**:
- PC hardware set-up, installation and general maintenance
- Remote access troubleshooting; passwords to simple PC operations
- Active Directory, VPN, storage and back up technologies
- VMWare, Exchange, SQL would be an asset Diploma in IT
- A+ and ITIL certifications
- N+ would be an asset
**Added bonus, you have an interest in**:
- Satellite technology and communications
- Emerging low-earth orbit (LEO) technology such as Starlink
Pay: $18.59-$22.00 per hour
