Overview:
The Location: Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world. This position is based in the Calgary, AB office location.

**Responsibilities**:
As **Applied Research Project Manager**, you will:

- Maintain, update, and present regular summaries of project data, metrics, and status
- Support regular strategic planning activities and progress reporting
- Support purchasing, budgeting, and financial reporting for our Applied Research team
- Monitor key spending and guide decision making for financial aspects
- Coordinate and assist in reviewing technical reporting, specifically related to tax benefit programs
- Plan and negotiate external resource support for pre-development activities
- Actively manage the transition of new technologies into the new product development process
- Engage in ongoing continuous improvement and process development by identifying new opportunities and leading or assisting with implementations

Qualifications:
Must-Have:

- Post-secondary education in engineering, computer science, business, or related fields. Equivalent, related work experience will also be considered.
- 5+ years of experience in a product development or project management environment
- Experience with tools for project management, including dashboarding and metrics
- Experience developing and communicating progress and planning reporting
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
