**Business Development Representative**

Sherpa is hiring a Business Development Representative with outstanding writing skills to pull leads for our cutting-edge and highly customized solutions.

We operate in a niche market where prospects are easy to identify. Still, it takes a lot more tenacity, flair, wit, relevance, and tact to get their attention and start a conversation. **About Sherpa**

**Your Role and Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Business Development, you will be part of a new team, as our CEO primarily handled sales until recently. Sherpa is now at that pivotal stage where we need a dedicated sales team to further our growth, and you’ll be a founding member of this new chapter.

**Responsibilities**
- Using a strategic approach to selling, you will use your expertise to identify, hunt and qualify new sales opportunities within a set of assigned accounts.
- Meet and exceed sales targets.
- Perform flawless tracking of your files and keep them up to date in our CRM (Hubspot).
- Contribute to developing and establishing best practices and tools to refine our sales process playbook.
- Relay any information and collaborate with our other teams to improve our offer and positioning.

**Your Qualifications and Skills**

They have a can-do attitude and have:

- 2 years of B2B sales experience with a history of exceeding targets.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Native/Bilingual proficiency in English
- Conversational proficiency in French
- Capacity to travel abroad (Authorized to travel to the US and have a valid passport and travel documents)
- Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems (we use Hubspot)
- Can work from the office once or twice a week.

Sous la responsabilité du Directeur des ventes et du développement commercial, vous ferez partie d'une nouvelle équipe, puisque notre PDG s'occupait des ventes jusqu'à récemment. Sherpa est maintenant à une étape charnière où nous avons besoin d'une équipe de vente dédiée pour poursuivre notre croissance, et vous serez un des membres fondateurs de ce nouveau chapitre de Sherpa.

**Responsabilités**
- Grâce à une approche stratégique, vous utiliserez votre expertise pour identifier, rechercher et qualifier de nouvelles opportunités de vente au sein d'un ensemble de comptes assignés.
- Atteindre et dépasser les objectifs de vente.
- Effectuer un suivi sans faille de vos dossiers et les tenir à jour dans notre CRM (Hubspot).
- Contribuer au développement et à la mise en place de bonnes pratiques et d'outils pour affiner notre processus de vente.
- Relayer toute information et collaborer avec nos autres équipes pour améliorer notre offre et notre positionnement.

**Vos qualifications et compétences**

Ils ont une attitude volontaire et ont aussi:

- 2 ans d'expérience dans la vente B2B avec un historique de dépassement d'objectifs.
- De solides compétences en matière de communication et de présentation.
- Maîtrise de l'anglais (langue maternelle ou bilingue).
- Maîtrise du français à l'oral.
