Who you are.

We are looking for an Office Manager who will manage the full cycle of Bookkeeping and other tasks to support our Operations department and Finance department. In addition to this, you will maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments.
Your main operational duties include managing office maintenance, security, and events. Coordinating / purchasing branded / co branded banners, gifts & custom projects.
Bookkeeper job duties will cover the full cycle of accounting up to a trial balance and include accounts payable / receivable and payroll / calculating source deductions. Custom reports will also need to be created as requested.
Ultimately, you should be able to ensure reporting deadlines are met and support the Operations Department in enabling the Sales or Engineering departments develop opportunities and submit proposals. There is an annual cycle to our business and some months are much busier than others. We need some one who is organized, can work independently but also work well as a team.
What you are Responsible for.

Weekly (Daily at times) Accounts Receivable / Payables Management
Bi Monthly Payroll and Source Deductions
Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
Complete the Monthly HST Report and complete the Trial Balance
Complete tax forms as assigned
Calculate Commissions & Track Draws
Maintain Finance Reports for Management
Assist the Operations Department in tracking hardware orders, managing the facilities and event contracts
Your Knowledge, Experience, and Skills.

Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper with exposure to the full cycle of accounting
Experience with Accounting software and using journal entries
Computer literacy with Microsoft’s Suite of Products, advanced knowledge of excel is an asset.
Functional understanding of Canada Revenue Agencies regulations, processes and deadlines.
Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
Post-Secondary Education in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or relevant field is an asset

Must be eligible to obtain a Canadian Secret Level clearance. Valid drivers license and access to vehicle.

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
